Every member of staff, no matter what their level of seniority, acts in an ethical manner. We foster a positive working environment and constantly seek new ways to improve our services.
We are a people-friendly business and play a responsible role in the community. We typically work with a different charity partner each year and over our last financial year we supported CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, raising over £56,000. In a response to the coronavirus pandemic, we are currently following a ‘Charity of the Month’ initiative in order to support a number of different causes that have been especially impacted this year.
We take direct action in the community. Every member of staff is able to spend a day each year volunteering for a charitable project. This might involve supporting community ‘action days’ or helping at a local school reading scheme.
Every effort is made to minimise our impact on the environment. Because sustainability is at the heart of our corporate social policy, we have reduced our carbon footprint by reducing energy consumption and waste.
As members of the Legal Senior Alliance, a group of professionals working collaboratively to help the environment, we take environmental issues seriously, publish our carbon footprint statistics and encourage others to do the same.
