Our vacation scheme

A legal vacation scheme is a great way to find out how a law firm works and get a flavour of the types of work lawyers are involved in.

Cripps Pemberton Greenish Vacation Scheme Update:

In light of the current global coronavirus pandemic and the restrictions being placed on individuals and businesses, it is with great disappointment that we have decided to cancel our 2020 summer vacation scheme. This decision has not been taken lightly as we place great value on giving students the opportunity to gain an understanding of what life is like as a solicitor at a commercial law firm.

We look forward to being able to release details of our 2021 vacation scheme later this year.

If you enjoy a challenge and want to know what life at a top law firm is all about, then our summer vacation scheme is the opportunity for you. Designed specifically for ambitious undergraduates considering a legal career, you’ll work across the business for a fulfilling two-week period.

You’ll experience three different practice areas, meet an extraordinary variety of people, and enjoy a unique insight into the work we do. It will be challenging but fun. You’ll do research that extends your knowledge of the law, present project work to some of our legal professionals, and get encouragement and honest feedback.

Placements are full time at our Tunbridge Wells office. You’ll work in a supportive and enthusiastic team, learn from our lawyers and other professional staff, and see how a leading law firm like Cripps Pemberton Greenish operates.

Read trainee solicitor, Holly Milne’s Q&A with our 2019 vacation scheme students to find out more.

We’d like to hear from you if you are a second year or third year undergraduate or currently studying the GDL. Places are limited so we look for candidates with an excellent academic record, and strong verbal and written communications skills.

You should be enthusiastic, willing to learn, and eager to understand our client-centric approach to legal services.

Interviews will be held at our Tunbridge Wells office and will be a one stage process with competency based questions. You have the opportunity to meet two fee earners and two members of our People Team.
