About our research
To help us understand the benefits and barriers to proptech implementation, we used three research methods:
- An online survey with 10 key questions completed by 55 participants – Respondents included directors, chief executives and management from real estate as well as founders and chief executives from technology companies.
- A roundtable event involving 15 participants from across the property and technology sector – We gathered a group of leading real estate and digital experts to find out what is hindering greater tech implementation.
- In-depth interviews with experienced people in real estate and technology – We wanted to delve deeper into the differing opinions at the roundtable and followed up with three experts to hear their views and elicit examples of how they have seen proptech in practice
The roundtable event
We gathered a group of 15 leading real estate and digital experts to find out what is hindering greater tech adoption and to consider the opportunities for executing successful projects in partnership.
