Cripps has advised Uniguest Holdings, inc. on its acquisition of ONELAN Limited, a digital signage and visual communications company based in Reading.

Uniguest is a private equity backed company providing secure consumer-facing technology solutions, such as public-use computers, digital signage, boarding pass stations etc. to clients across a number of sectors.

Its purchase of ONELAN, a global leader in visual applications such as digital signage, wayfinding, and meeting space bookings, will allow Uniguest to extend both its product offering and global footprint.

Cripps worked closely with Uniguest and their US lawyers, Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP on all UK aspects of this complex, international transaction.

Uniguest CEO, Jeff Hiscox commented, “Everyone we worked with at Cripps was terrific.  This was a key transaction for us, which called for complex negotiations with multiple parties and stakeholders, with the added time zone challenges that working with a US company brings.”

Salim Somjee led the Cripps team which included Lowri Jones and Aleks Wulff.  They were assisted by Harry Partridge (Commercial), Emma Saunders (Employment) and Lisa Steer (Real estate).
