Cripps Pemberton Greenish has, once again, been recognised as a national leader for its private client expertise in the Chambers High Net Worth guide.

The guide, which launched in 2016, provides an in-depth analysis of law firms acting for high net worth individuals and families.  It covers private wealth management work and related specialisms in key jurisdictions around the world with feedback collated from a variety of sources to compile the rankings and editorial.

The firm is ranked as a national leader (outside of London) for its private wealth work with editorial stating the team is “renowned for handling high-quality private client matters”.   The disputes team is also ranked top in the South East, with sources praising its “very thorough and comprehensive” advice.

In high value residential work, the firm has been recognised as a leader in the UK with sources complimenting its “full range of support services for high net worth individuals, not only in conveyancing but in tax planning”.

In addition to its practice area rankings, seven lawyers have been named as leading individuals in their field of work with specialisms in private wealth law (London), private wealth disputes and real estate: high value residential.

Head of the private client team, Myles McIntosh commented: “This is a great result for both the London and Kent teams and reaffirms our standing as a leading UK private client practice.

In 2018, we significantly strengthened all of our private client teams through a number of tax, probate and residential property lateral hires as well as the additional service offering brought about by our recent merger with Chelsea firm, Pemberton Greenish. We will continue to build upon our expertise over the next 12 months, whilst remaining committed to providing our international and domestic private clients with high quality legal and tax advice across a full range of services.”

Separately, the team was recently shortlisted for ‘Private Client Legal Team of the Year (midsize firm)’ at the STEP Private Client Awards.  The winner will be announced at a black-tie dinner and awards ceremony on 25 September 2019.
