Cripps Pemberton Greenish advises East Sussex manufacturer on sale of its moulding division
Cripps Pemberton Greenish’s corporate team has advised East Sussex-based Dolphin Solutions Ltd on the sale of the business and assets of its Excel division to Italian group, Seko.
Based in Bodiam, Dolphin Solutions has been providing washroom products and systems in the UK since 1999, working with a range of architects, contractors and developers. Over the years the Dolphin brand has built an excellent reputation and has become synonymous with quality. The company’s Excel division offers commercial handwashing and sanitising dispensers and has experienced high growth over recent years.
The divestment of the Excel division will allow Dolphin to focus on and grow its core commercial washroom business.
Cripps Pemberton Greenish advised Dolphin on all legal aspects of the transaction, working alongside Castle Corporate Finance. The Cripps team was led by James Beatton and Beth Barns-Graham and included Lauren Romo and Megan Pitt (Corporate), Elliot Fry (Commercial) and Camilla Beamish (Employment).
Commenting on the legal support provided, Jonathan Beattie, Managing Director of Dolphin, said: “the Cripps team were excellent. Their advice was clear and concise and they followed up with all parties to ensure the deal was completed in a timely manner. They kept us informed of their fees and ensured there were no surprises at the end of the transaction. I would highly recommend their services.”
Beth Barns-Graham, senior associate, commented: “This transaction represents an important strategic divestment for the Dolphin business, and we were pleased to be able to play our part in ensuring that the project was delivered to Dolphin’s satisfaction.”
