Cripps has helped an international corporate services firm to cement its position in London and the south east with the acquisition of a specialist security company.

Grosvenor Corporate Security Limited purchased Charter Security Limited, in a deal organised by Kent’s largest law firm.

A family business with offices across the UK and USA, Grosvenor already offered a comprehensive range of cleaning, security and facilities management, with the London-based acquisition further strengthening their services to clients.

Ben McCauley, managing director of Grosvenor said: “Our aim is always to provide professional, responsive security solutions tailored to our clients’ needs and we are grateful to Cripps for arranging this deal to enable us to further improve our guarding services.”

In arranging the purchase, the Kent solicitors worked closely with clients in Dublin and London.

Salim Somjee, a partner in the corporate division at Cripps, said: “Grosvenor is a successful family business with offices all around the world, and it was a pleasure to work with their Dublin office to ensure the successful completion of this deal.”
