Effective from 1 October, leasehold enfranchisement specialist and property litigation partner Kerry Glanville will head up our newly enlarged Residential Estates team. Kerry’s contentious enfranchisement expertise complements the existing team and enables us to continue to provide clients, both existing and new, a much-needed centre of excellence and expertise on leasehold enfranchisement and other long leaseholder issues.

The team now includes a formidable roster of experts in their field: alongside Kerry, senior team members include Laura Blackwell-Shaw, Anna Favre, litigation specialist Amy Jackson (who joined from Forsters in January this year), Michael Roskell, Rosa Doval and George Calvert, supported by juniors and paralegals in both London and Kent.

“I am excited to be heading up such a fantastic team and especially when there is so much change to help clients navigate. The complexity of leasehold reform means clients need experts in this space to take them through the intricacies of the reforms and to help get the right outcomes for them.” said Kerry Glanville.

Already an award winning team, it has already landed a number of new clients, even through lockdown, and is now in pole market position to support clients for the seismic changes being ushered in under the Leasehold Reform Act (LRA) and on all aspects of enfranchisement.

Mike Scott, Head of Real Estate at the firm added “Our strategic focus is on delivering the best service to the real estate sector using the strength and breadth of the firm’s expertise. Having brought contentious and non-contentious expertise into one team under Kerry’s leadership, our clients now have the best team in the business to go to for their residential leasehold and enfranchisement advice.”
