Three of Cripps Pemberton Greenish’s lawyers have been recognised with awards in the last week.  Rebecca Hughes was unveiled as the ‘Gold Winner’ in the Lawyer of the Year – Associate (Regional) category at the Citywealth Future Leaders awards dinner on 13th November, out of an initial shortlist of 7 candidates from around the country.  This was close on the heels of successes at the Kent Junior Lawyers Division Annual Achievement Awards at the Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and District Law Society annual dinner on 8th November – where Natasha Holme won “Trainee Solicitor of the Year” and David Pike “Paralegal of the Year”.

Rebecca trained at Cripps before qualifying into the residential conveyancing team, where she has made a mark as a problem-solver with consistently positive feedback. Natasha, who qualified in September, has had consistently great feedback from her supervisors and equally from clients, with one commenting she is ‘as lucid and helpful in person as in writing’. David, who has been at the firm for just over 2 years, manages complex real estate transactions to tight deadlines, garnering excellent feedback from clients.

“We are delighted that Rebecca has been recognised by Citywealth, particularly in face of such tough competition” said Fiona McIntosh, head of the residential team.

Philip Youdan, Partner in the private client disputes team, commented “Natasha has a confident and proactive approach to business development and demonstrates great aptitude for understanding clients and adapting to their needs. It’s great to see her win this award.”

Stephen Hedley, Partner in the commercial real estate team, added “David’s win is genuinely deserved – his desire to continually improve has been noted by all.  He maintains a very full caseload at work in addition to study time but is always ready to help out with new members of the team or take on new instructions. ”

Cripps Pemberton Greenish offers well respected apprentice and trainee programmes for those interested in careers in the law spanning corporate, real estate and private client areas of work. Its agile working, cloud-based IT and forward thinking partnership enables a broad range of opportunities for individuals to achieve success.

“We are proud of what Rebecca, Natasha and David have achieved already in their careers. It’s heartening to see our view being shared and endorsed on a national and local level.” enthused Gavin Tyler, Managing partner.
