Staff from leading law firm Cripps Pemberton Greenish are taking to their saddles to raise money for children’s cancer charity, CLIC Sargent.

Taking place on 13 – 15 September, fourteen members of staff from across the firm will be participating in this year’s 375km route, which will see them cycle from the firm’s Chelsea office to Paris, via its offices in Kings Hill and Tunbridge Wells.

Now in its fifth year, this event is being co-organised by associates Hannah Proctor and Joanne Searle. Hannah commented:  “I’m delighted that this has become an annual event.  Each year we have tried to do that little bit more to raise as much money as possible – whether this be increasing the distance or even cycling on a tandem!  At more than three times the distance of last year’s route, this one will be the toughest yet.”

Joanne added: “The whole team has been training really hard.  We have a team of real mixed abilities, from experienced regular cyclists to some that only purchased a bicycle four months ago!  The work CLIC Sargent do in assisting young people affected by cancer is so important and we hope to raise a lot for this very worthwhile cause.”

CLIC Sargent supports children and young people across the UK affected by cancer, providing tailored specialist support and guidance to each family.  It also researches and campaigns to policy makers on the behalf of those affected.

The riders will also be raising money beforehand with a variety of activities including a sponsored leg waxing.
