The Centre for European Studies (CEFEUS) at Canterbury Christ Church University is launching its second Brexit report on 13th July with the support of Helen Whately, MP for Faversham and Mid-Kent.

The report, which includes findings from both our 2016 and 2017 Brexit surveys, reviews the combined impacts, opportunities and ‘asks’ for SMEs and the rural economy in Kent and Medway. It also includes a case study of Wire Belt Company, a prominent manufacturing business based in Sittingbourne.

In an interview with Paul Winter, Chairman of Wire Belt and Chair of CEFEUS’s Sectoral Group on SMEs, we hear about his views on the impact of Brexit from a business perspective and the changes being undertaken within his own company in preparation of leaving the EU.

The interview can be seen below.
