Advice from Cripps Pemberton Greenish has helped secure the sale of a London-based recruitment business to an American multinational.

Ship Shape Resources, a privately-owned company providing payroll, compliance and accounting services sold its recruitment division to CDI AndersElite, the UK subsidiary of New York Stock Exchange-listed CDI Corp.

Howard Hughes, chief executive officer of Ship Shape Resources, commented: “CDI AndersElite is the right partner for our recruitment organisation. This transaction ensures a smooth transition for our clients and contractors as we increase our focus on our core payroll activities and technology consulting services to the recruitment and construction industries.”

The legal aspects of the sale were handled by Cripps Pemberton Greenish partner Salim Somjee.
