Top employment partner joins Cripps Pemberton Greenish
Leading law firm Cripps Pemberton Greenish has expanded its employment team with the lateral hire of an experienced City partner into its London office.
Melanie Stancliffe, who is ranked as an expert in legal directories Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners, joined the team on 30 October.
With over 21 years’ experience, Melanie advises senior executives, professionals, and corporates on a range of employment matters including terminations, boardroom disputes and high value tribunal claims. She has particular experience in the sectors of IT, technology, financial services and retail.

A fluent French speaker, Melanie is co-chair of the French Chamber of Great Britain HR forum. Aimed at HR directors and professionals, the forum meets regularly to share best practices to optimise working conditions and motivate employees.

Melanie joins from Irwin Mitchell’s London office, which she joined as a partner in 2015. One of her leading cases is Wardle v Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, a discrimination case which was heard at Court Of Appeal.
