Our finance team are an integral part of the day to day operations of the Firm. Based from the Tunbridge Wells office, the department is split into five teams (billing, credit control, payroll, management accounts and the legal cashiering team).
Our legal cashier team are now looking for someone to join them. This is a good opportunity for someone looking to further their experience in this area and the role will see you working on various tasks including client and disbursement ledger, invoices from our suppliers and also transfers. Legal sector work experience is a nice to have, but certainly not a requirement for the role.
Please note that our cashier team are required to have cover from 9:00am to 6:15pm to cover banking transactions, so at least one member of the team works until 6:15pm. The team take it in turns to work a late shift (10:00am to 6:15pm) and usually do this on a weekly basis, so would work late one week in five. Flexibility regarding these hours are considered when discussing holidays and other commitments. Our normal working hours are 36.25 hours per week. Flexibility is also required at month end to ensure all postings are up to date.
